We’re in the process of switching from Dish Network to DirecTV. Unfortunately, the DirecTV app for iOS doesn’t work on jailbroken devices. I’m not really sure why they bother blocking jailbreakers, but they do. Pretty annoying, huh?

I recently updated the Google app on my iPhone and I have to say… Google Now is pretty cool. Cool enough that it’s now sitting in my launch bar. That being said, I’ve discovered an annoying bug with respect to Bluetooth integration.

Google Maps iPhone App Crashes on Launch

Ugh. First, my iPhone had a dark spot on it’s screen. Next, the replacement had touchscreen problems. Then the re-replacement couldn’t connect to the 3G network. And now this… The Google Maps app started crashing on launch.
