Gorilla Super Glue is the Real Deal

I recently needed some “Super Glue” (cyanoacrylate adhesive) to repair a couple of iPod/iPhone sync cables that cracked down near the plug. I’ve had terrible luck with tubes of Super Glue drying up in the past, so I decided to try something new.

I’m a big fan of 3M’s Command adhesive strips. If you’ve never used them, they’re great. They stick like crazy, but release without damage when you stretch them out by pulling the little release tab on the end.

How to Fix a Broken Retainer

The other day when I got out of bed, I removed my retainer and slipped it in the pocket of my sweat pants. Not smart, I know, but it is what it is. Unfortunately, I later left my sweats on the floor, and someone (probably me) stepped on them, thus breaking my retainer. Never one to take the easy way out, I fixed it myself.
