I just started working toward 100 pushups tonight. We’ll see how it goes, but it seems like a reasonable goal that I can work into my regular fitness routine.
As an aside, I’d forgotten how complete an upper body workout you can get from pushups. Way more abs involved than I remembered (I’ve mostly been doing dumbbell work on a bench).
Who’s with me?
[Hat tip to Blaine Moore for pointing this out.]

I randomly tried seeing how many I could do a couple of years ago and busted out 46, but never tried any of the reach 100 in one go programs.
I’ll probably try reaching that in my next season of training, but I’m not going to siderail my current workout schedule I’ve developed.
I also like doing different kinds pushups that have me lifting an arm in the air or leaving the floor or crawling around the room. Works you a lot of different ways that way.
Good luck! Interested in hearing how quickly you get up there.

I’m starting it this week. I’m using the perfect pushup, which I believe is harder. I’ve been using it for about 3 months off and on and have seen some great results.
The 100 pushup goal seems fairly hard to achieve in six weeks. I plan on repeated a few weeks and even if I just fall short, it will be amazing results.
Lets go!
