Madden 25 Games Not Saving in Offline Career Mode

We got an Xbox One for Christmas and I’ve been playing a fair amount of Madden 25 with our boys. One of our favorite things to do is to set up franchises in offline career mode and create our own teams via the fantasy draft.

That’s all well and good, but we’ve discovered an apparent bug where it very frequently fails to save our progress when we complete a game.

In short, after the game ends, we review our stats and then click to exit. But instead of taking us back to the franchise menu where we should be able to save our progress, it dumps us out to the main menu.

And no, the auto-save feature doesn’t seem to help. In my experience, it seems to create an auto-save before the game which doesn’t do us any good. We still have to replay the game.

I’ve contacted EA about this via their online chat and they were of very little help. The rep pretty much said that I should post about it in their support forums and hopefully there will be a patch.

All in all, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Madden 25 is an otherwise really fun game, but these sorts of glitches steal the joy.

I’ve searched the web a bit and have seen other reports of this behavior so I know we’re not alone. But, unfortunately, I haven’t run across any solutions.

Hello… My brother and I had the same issue. What we found out is it only does that when two profiles are signed in. So only sign into one profile with a controller and don’t allow the other controller to sign into the profile. The problem is when you load into a game everything is under one profile but when the second profile gets added and if you happen to end the game with that profile, it will take you to saved games for the profile you didn’t start with. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Brilliant!!! I hope you’re right. I’ve tried it once with only a single profile logged in and it worked properly. Hopefully this is the fix that I’ve been looking for.

I should also note that I’ve gone into the settings under each profile and turned off the Kinect auto-sign-in. That stops it from signing in to additional profiles when someone walks into the room.

I’m having this same issue on my PS4 I just want to play my 60 dollar game on my 400 dollar console, and it’s not letting me save my games after the game is over. This is so frustrating.

Hey that don’t work for me. It still goes back to the main screen after the game is over. I even turned second controller off. Have any other ideas I could try?
