How to Remove the DIYthemes Widget from the Thesis WordPress Dashboard

If you’re using the Thesis WordPress theme then you’ve likely noticed a self-serving Dashboard panel titled “The latest from the DIYthemes Blog.” If this bugs you and you’d like to remove it, then you’ve come to the right place.

As it turns out, the solution to this annoyance is dead simple. Simply click the “Screen Options” tab in the upper right corner of your Dashboard and then uncheck the box next to “The latest from the DIYthemes Blog.” That’s it — the offending box should disappear, never again to annoy you.

Note that if you’d just like to relocate this section, then click and drag the header to move it around the page.
