I recently needed some “Super Glue” (cyanoacrylate adhesive) to repair a couple of iPod/iPhone sync cables that cracked down near the plug. I’ve had terrible luck with tubes of Super Glue drying up in the past, so I decided to try something new.
Instead of buying Krazy Glue or any of the other usual suspects, which inevitably dry up before I come back to use them a second time, I picked up a small (15 g) bottle of Gorilla Super Glue.
Well, I made the original repairs back around Thanksgiving, and guess what? I broke out the bottle of glue yesterday to fix something else and it worked great. Any other brand would’ve long since dried up and been unusable, my bottle of Gorilla Glue worked like new.
I’m not sure if this has to do with the composition of the glue itself, or if I have the bottle to thank. Either way, I’m a big fan of Gorilla Super Glue.
