Adding the “Send PDF to Evernote” Option to Your Mac Print Dialog

by Michael on July 15, 2012 · 0 comments

If you use Evernote, you may be familiar with the ability to send items (as pdfs) to Evernote directly from the print dialog. Unfortunately, this option doesn’t always get installed when installing Evernote. Thus, you might have to do it yourself.

The good news is that adding the “Send PDF to Evernote” option is very simple. To do this, just create an alias Evernote and drag it to ~/Library/PDF Services. You can then rename it to “Send PDF to Evernote” and you’re done.

If you’re not sure how to make an alias, see here:

Note: If you’re using Mac OS X Lion or above, you’ll have to “unhide” the library directory before you can do this.
